>> that all happening in the windy city grazing for more nato protests today. police fighting back with batons and thousands of anti nato protestors are clashing with the officers there. police officer stabbed in the leg. three others also injured. more than 4 dozen demonstrators arrested. today is the last day. one guard was killed 5 others were hurt. it was linked to some sort of a power struggle between inmates there. the smoke is believed to be tear gas. they heard gun fire coming from inside that jail. >> the arsonist today after someone torched more than a dozen buildings in just the past five days.

cops believe all of those fires with one person. 14 bane doned buildings in birmingham destroyed so far. now an entire community is on edge. >> i got it through the back window. >> even though that arsonist is targeting abandoned buildings concern now for the nearby homes which po tetential fire can spr. >> tropical storm alberto the first storm of the hurricane season is not expected to reach land but it is causing dangerous water conditions in places like virginia beach. the storm can bring strong winds and scattered rains across the area. forecasters expected from the northeast and head out to see. >> last night it was lady's night in las vegas at the billboard awards.

the families of bombing victims. aboard the flight was 36-year-old tom amevid. he talked about his death and rolling in the bombing. >> he carried out orders. there were more people involved, qaddafi's right-hand man in the intelligence. he's the key. >> a relative as well as qaddafi. >> he knows what happened in pan-am 103. he knows the other individuals involved and other countries involved. there's no question in my mind iran and syria had been involved. i don't know if our government or the british got. has the stomach to find the truth because it might go to the door of iran. >> pan-am flight went down killing all 259 people on board mostly americans plus 11 people on the ground. it was one of the most deadly attacks in modern history.

together on geraldo. possible plea deals will get into work. they reacted the evidence that supports his story. listen to this. >> everybody has interest in the public assumption. everybody can look at it for themselves. you can look at the witness statements that they were not on the ground when the ground was fired. look at the witness statements and then look at the medical records they have a one-inch laceration on his forehead and only one mark on top of his head and he was bleeding. thae important. that explains why he didn't go to the hospital last night. trayvon martin had one-quarter to one 8th of an inch on his left ring finger. that is his only injury. it is or not that we look at the evidence thoroughly before we

jump to conclusions. most importantly, if there was an altercation between the two, then it is because george zimmerman ran after trayvon martin. he's weighing in on whether or not this against his client has been prejudged and a possible decision over a predeal has been made? >> it wouldn't be made until we have all of the ed. i have less than half. you have less than i have. it is too early to make decisions like that. we need to look at all of the evidence take the definitions and make a decision how the case is going to proceed. >> oo let me ask you another state of mind issue. are you in any way -- is your concernal leigh yat ---al
